SEDS-Canada 2020-2021 Year in Review

To our SEDS-Canada Community,

Thank you to all who helped make our 2020-2021 year extraordinary! We could not have accomplished our goals and more this year without our staff, advisors, and event participants! Our accomplishments for the year started with transitioning our initiatives completely online which helped connect all of us no matter our where on Earth we were.

Our transition to a fully online community meant we also developed new initiatives such as our Regional Representatives Programme and opened doors to new partnerships, most recently with Western University’s Institute for Earth and Space Exploration, Zenith Canada Pathways, SEDS-India, Mission Control Space Services, and more! We will continue to work with our partners to bring you new events and opportunities

To top off the year, we also expanded our membership and advisory base to over 150 members across Canada, and we won’t stop growing anytime soon! Our Board of advisors provide our organization with valuable industry and academia contacts, support us in grant and funding applications, and help guide us to be prepared for the space sector of the future.

We hope to continue developing effective resources, events, projects, and content for students nationwide. Ad astra!
